Give FireRed or LeafGreen a try. They're remakes of the classics, but updated, so they're pretty good if you want to try to get into the series.

I has every Pogeymanz game except LeafGreen, Emerald, Pearl, and Platinum.

My favorite Pogeymanz are Tentacruel, Charmander, Vulpix, and Dratini, 'cause he's cooler than you.

I have NEVER played second generation.

also, Snorlax is clearly the best pokemon
